Metal is a tool for adding tokens and wallets to your application. Apps can have one token or many tokens. Tokens can be deployed by the app developers or by the app users.

While there are many different ways to use metal we have provided 3 categories of apps that will be eligible for our bounty. Applications shouldn’t worry too much about the specifics as long as they broadly fit into one of these categories.

(When in doubt contact the team, we may be willing to make exceptions)

In order to qualify for a prize apps must:

- create a token using metal

- only use metal holders in the app (no external wallet connections)

- app core user flow must only be on base network

Token Reward App

Description

A token rewards app is any app with a metal token that gives it away to users who are using the app.

Get Started

• Create token through the metal app or the metal’s /create-token endpoint (be sure to set canDistribute to true).
• Use metal’s /getOrCreate holder endpoint to set up wallets for your users.
• Use metal’s /distribute endpoint to send token rewards to your users.
